At this point YouTube is the simplest avenue to get your college volleyball recruiting video in the hands of coaches. Even the most illiterate of them in terms of PCs, videos, etc. will have very little difficulty viewing a web volleyball recruiting video that way One of the things coaches battle with is a video file or DVD sent in a format their computer system does not cover. Typically if the video comes via a link to another company or internet server it works fine, but many coaches are not familiar enough with all the available options nowadays to be in a position to adjust if there's a problem.

What coaches have come to love about YouTube is just clicking the link and reviewing the footage. Of course there’s quite a bit to distract a coach on the page, with all the other video options and adverts. Yes, coaches can ramble off the track as well, but it's a pretty foolproof way to get them to observe you. Listen to me, foolproof is the way to go with college coaches, particularly during hectic times of year, like during the volleyball season.

Remember, volleyball recruiting video pictures is just to get coaches to come see you in the flesh. The video will not land you a scholarship or a place on the squad mostly, nonetheless it will permit enough evaluation material to lure a coach to come and see you in play, or to request additional specific video footage. Don't be concerned about putting together the perfect volleyball recruiting video. Just get something together that lasts about 8 minutes with skills and a little bit of match action.

Oh and be exact about what you include in the volleyball recruiting video. If you're illustrating yourself as a setter, don’t trouble showing serve receive. If you are a middle blocker, don’t show outside hitting reps. College volleyball is skill-specific. Show the skills for the position you play.

Lastly, do not squander time showing serving. The power to serve the ball over the net is something college coaches take for granted in their recruits! The only time you should bother including footage of serving is if you have a particularly strong jump serve. Even then, only a couple of reps is required. Don’t include five minutes of serving.
