In order to make an excuse for what he is doing he must put emotional space between you and him. Maybe you and him just don’t talk as much any longer. Maybe the two of you are having more fights than previously. Perhaps he just appears to usually resent you.
When a person has an affair it is not unusual for them to see the other woman as “all good” while at the same time viewing their better half as “all bad” in an effort to excuse the affair. Your hubby emotionally withdrawing from you’ll come in one of the many flavours, but be looking out for it.
Secondly, keep your eyes open for whatever reason he may have to be out of the house more often. If you man has an affair, he is going to need to find time to do it. Does he say he’s working late? Has he suddenly taken up a new interest like bowling or golf? These could simply be excuses to get out of the house.
Also take note that if the two of you are having more arguments, there may be a tiny of the first two points mixed. Perhaps the arguments help to distance him from you, but while he is angry he leaves the house to “cool off.” This might be a reason to get out and hook up with the other lady.
3rd, it’s likely that if he is wooing another girl, it’s potentially going to cost cash. Be looking for peculiar charges on the Visa card. Perhaps instead of getting that sandwich at the deli like he usually does for lunch, you notice a charge for an exceedingly pricey cafe.
Probabilities are good though that your husband may know that you are going to be checking over the bank records. Instead he’d be withdrawing big amounts of money from the ATM in an effort to cover his tracks. Do his withdraws appear abnormally large or frequent?
Affairs can truly be a tough thing for any girl to deal with. What you discover may not cause you to feel good, but I believe in the longer term it is better to grasp the truth than to merely look the other way and wish for the best.
