Well Made And Motion Detector Works Well – Outdoor Security Lights Review

The movement sensor function works great – it only comes on when it is dark and the sensitivity is perfect. I am glad I only bought one set for trial.

It was precisely what I expected it to be. Thirty second timer on these solar spot lights are ideal for my application.

Not super bright, made to be hung vertically (but could be hung horizonally with the right screw), and functions the same day or evening (no daylight sensor).

But because the battery door on the back must stay openable, the size of the velcro stip that can be used is sort of restricted; and since it’ll basically hang by its battery door, I really hope battery door latch mechanism stays strong enough. We returned the light and the area has stayed thoroughly clean.

The motion detector is effective, however the LED light isn’t as bright as I believed it might be. They give of fantastic light in dark areas. Merchandise was delivered in standard semi-hard plastic packaging in top condition. I might have gotten a defective one however I couldn’t get the sensitivity adjusted so that it didn’t go on and off all night The product is just what I ordered.

I do not have to worry about the children leaving it on (since it turns off with no movement). If it’s at least one foot above your face you cannot see what you have in your hands. To date, it’s worked completely. One other thing that needs to be talked about here is that, every little gadget comes with an adhesive sticker which you can peel the device on-and-off a surface. The unit is bigger than you may think, and has a pleasant, steady base. I’ve had this for many months. As I mentioned previously, my light isn’t exposed to any immediate moisture at all – it is hung on my porch roof which has an eave that extends down one foot in the roof line and the light is mounted in the corner. I’m here a third time purchasing more for a dark hallway in my basement!

I can not say how it is like outdoors, but inside I really like it. Look for a different light. Many thanks!

I have grandkids up and down the steps constantly, thought the batteries would need to be changed, however they last a long time. I could not decide so I purchased a few to test in various locations around the house. Held in the palm of the hands it’s not bright enough to light up your fingertips.

I just got it and did not have a chance to check battery life.

The outdoor security lights produced enough light to see from the hanger bar to the floor. I’ve had my outdoor security lights out for 6 months now and have not needed to change the batteries yet!
