Fireworks Enclosures
When it comes to fireworks, my guidance to work with high quality elements. This is also applicable in terms of fireworks boxes. Of course that we can improvise using plastic boxes but, we can get into the risk area as we won’t have control. And having control is crucial when it comes to making fireworks.
What we can use for enclosure? Let’s see:
Paper tubes:
The paper tubes are cylindrical enclosures made out of paper or cardboard. Most come in different measures, having different lengths as well as wall thickness. The sort of paper tube is selected depending on fireworks chemical that we use and also the amount of this chemical. I purchase my personal tubes from pyrocreations.
They offer got many different sizes of tubes. You actually have your selection of spiral wound or convoluted in your color choice of red, silver or natural Kraft on select sizes. Typical or extra heavy walls can be found. You must be aware that all their tubes are weighed on very accurate digital scales, not counted. So you may be one or two above or under. Counting every one by hand can take a very long time.
Plastic shells:
The plastic shells can be found in different shapes and sizes. The fuse opening also can vary in diameter. Both the half of the plastic shell can easily join. This manner we get a shell that could resist moisture.
Paper shells:
Similar to the plastic shells, the paper shells are available in diverse sizes and styles. Many don’t have holes for the fuse however those can be easily drilled.
You should use some gummed tape to keep the 2 half of a shell together.
For the majority of my fireworks I use paper shells since they are usually more workable. Usually I put smaller shells inside a larger one.
There have been times when I didn’t have a big enough plastic shell and I had to make myself one.
